Panasonic TX-P42C3B, PAL-I vs PAL G/B
Jeg jobber på båt, og kjøpte en ny tv til lugaren min i UK. Jeg ble lovet av selgeren at det ikke skulle bli noe konflikter med tanke på signal/frekvenser. Men det er det jo tydeligvis! Ligger nå til havs med en tv som kun støtter PAL-I, og vi har canal digital ombord som sender PAL-G/B viss jeg har lest rett?! Og dette midt i beste VM-tiden! Er det noe som kan gjøres? Er det mulig med en softwareoppdatering, eller er det hardware som må byttes for å få TV'en til å funke?!

Jeg trodde virkelig at tunerne var nå såpass multi at dette ikke lenger var et problem.
Jeg har opplevd å velge feil på norske TV'er og få problemer fordi man fikk en annen standard.

Nei det er nok ikke mulig å velge dette under installasjonen... Er låst til PAL-I virker det som...

Thank you for your email enquiry.
To clarify, to obtain full operation from your television, it would be necessary to have it converted. UK television does broadcast on a different system to Norwegian television and as your television has a UK tuner; it is unlikely that it will be able to receive Norwegian broadcasts.
Panasonic do not, themselves, carry out such conversion and cannot, therefore, conclusively state whether it is either possible or indeed cost effective. However, there may be companies listed on the web who can assist.
The cost of any such conversion would be payable by you. It is possible that the television would work through the use of an external tuner such as a set-top digital or cable box, again however, we cannot guarantee this.
I am sorry that we cannot provide you with direct assistance in this matter but trust that the above will help.
